Dell Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon

Dell netbooks are teamed up to offer features that Nickelodeon’s sewage motif and popular characters from the show. Based on the Dell Inspiron Mini 10v netbook, the Dell Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition netbook can be personalized with characters from SpongeBob SquarePants and iCarly.

This is the first time from the Dell computer built specifically targeted at children. Dell’s teamed with Stardock Systems Inc. to build a Nickelodeon-theme desktop and easy access to kid-friendly web portal. On the desktop there will be a “Just for You” widget that lets children choose their own games and TV programs from Nick.com.While some children will love the look and feel of these netbooks, the parents will love the easy to use parental controls . Parents can restrict web access to specific sites and the limitations that are required. For additional security, the Dell Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition is equipped with Lo-Jack for Laptops and 15 month subscription to McAfee Security Family. Not yet announced the price has not been enough, but they will be available in October.
