Samsung Omnia 2

Samsung omnia II represents the next generation of Samsung’s popular all-in-one handset. As before, all the appropriate standard high-end features you expect from top-of-line smartphone.

Processing power is pretty heavy on the omnia II, who brought a Samsung 800MHz processor, combined with 256MB of RAM. The overlay interfaces (TouchWiz UI) is very responsive and performed well in most parts of the screen and the menu. One of the features that we particularly appreciate is the Task Switcher, task manager of sorts that allows you to switch to another application on or fully close.

For connectivity, omnia II suitable 3G (7.2Mbps download and upload 5.76Mbps), Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth and GPS built-in tuner. Browsing the Internet, you have a good relationship, he must be pretty fast. Unfortunately, this device does not come with a browser tab as Jet Samsung.

On board is a 5.0 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash unit. The interface is well designed and very responsive. The threat is very easy with little shutter lag and a reasonable quality, but can benefit from a little more detailed image. Other features include a very good media player (as we start from the company, except that the omnia HD), a 3.5mm audio slot and 8GB of storage on board (with support for microSDHC cards up to 32GB).

Voice calls and video are very good in the handset, with the natural sound-hard and a little behind. It also comes with a group messaging features, including SMS, MMS, IM and email (with support from the original Exchange). Leading one caveat is the removal of threaded message Samsung features available in Windows Mobile. It’s a very useful tool that has been sacrificed to accommodate the skinning.
